Crop Image

Drag a box over your image to crop it.

Crop Image lets you trim a JPG, PNG or WebP by dragging a selection rectangle directly over the picture: what's inside the box is what you keep. The crop is cut at the image's full native resolution and saved in the original format.

How do I use Crop Image?

  1. 1

Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP image into the box above, or click to browse for a file.

  2. 2

Drag across the preview to draw a selection rectangle over the area you want to keep, and redraw it as many times as you like until it's right.

  3. 3

Click Crop & download. The crop is cut at full native resolution and saved as cropped.jpg, cropped.png or cropped.webp to match your original.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Universal PDF requires a Pro subscription. One subscription unlocks every tool on the site, cancel anytime.

Does cropping reduce image quality?

No. The selection you draw on the preview is scaled back to the image's full native resolution before cutting, so the pixels inside your crop are carried over exactly as they are. Nothing is resampled or recompressed beyond the normal save.

What format does the cropped image download in?

The same format you started with: a JPG stays a JPG, a PNG stays a PNG (transparency intact), and a WebP stays a WebP. If you want a different format afterwards, run the result through our Image Converter.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The image is decoded, previewed and cropped on your device, so it stays with you unless you email the result or save it to My Files.
