Yes. Switch to the Edit Text tool, click any line of existing text on the page, and it's replaced with a matching editable box so you can rewrite or delete the original wording in place. You can still add new text, freehand drawings and signatures anywhere on the page too. For PDFs with form fields, the Fill PDF tool is usually the better fit.
Three: a pen for freehand drawing (black, red or blue, in two stroke widths), a text tool (click a spot, type, press Enter), and a signature tool that lets you draw a signature once and stamp it wherever you click. The Eraser removes items you've added to the current page.
Use Undo or the Eraser to remove your additions from the page you're viewing; other pages keep their edits. The original file on your device is never modified, so nothing is permanent until you click Export PDF.
No. The PDF is rendered, edited and saved entirely in your browser, and it never leaves your device unless you pick an export format that's processed online (compressed, OCR or Word, for example), email the result, or save it to My Files; those transfers use an encrypted connection. That makes this editor safe for contracts, medical forms and other sensitive documents.
