This tool places an electronic signature (an image of your handwritten signature), which is widely accepted for everyday agreements under laws like the US ESIGN Act and the EU's eIDAS. It is not a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature, so if the other party specifically requires one of those, you'll need a dedicated e-signing service.
Yes. Once your signature is saved, every click on the page stamps another copy, and you can move between pages with Prev and Next to sign each one. Pick the Sign tool again at any time to draw a new signature.
Not here. The signature pad is draw-only, and a trackpad or touchscreen gives the most natural result. If you also need your printed name or the date next to the signature, add them with the text tool in the Edit PDF tool.
Yes. The document and your signature are processed entirely in your browser, and nothing is uploaded for the signing itself. The contract only leaves your device if you pick a server-powered export format (compressed, OCR or Word, for example), email the result, or save it to My Files; those transfers use an encrypted connection.
