Your PDF is encrypted with AES-256, the same standard Adobe Acrobat uses at its strongest setting. With a good password, brute-forcing it is computationally infeasible. The practical weak point is always the password itself, so pick a long, unique passphrase rather than a single word.
No, never. The password travels over an encrypted connection, is used once in memory to encrypt your file, and is not written to disk or logged.
The document stays locked. AES-256 has no backdoor, and our Unlock PDF tool also requires the current password. It cannot bypass one, and neither can we. Store the password in a password manager before you archive or share the file.
