Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or subscription?

Universal PDF requires a Pro subscription. One subscription unlocks every tool on the site, cancel anytime. The watermarking itself runs in your browser.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The watermark is drawn on your device, so your images stay with you unless you email the result or save it to My Files.

Can I change the watermark's transparency?

The watermark uses a fixed 35% opacity with a light outline, tuned to stay readable over both light and dark photos without hiding the image underneath.

How big will the watermark text be?

The font size scales with each image automatically, at roughly a twelfth of the shorter side, so the watermark stays proportionate whether you stamp a thumbnail or a full-resolution photo.
