Form PPTC 482 is the Adult Passport Renewal Application for Canadian citizens who are outside Canada and the United States. It serves the same purpose as Form PPTC 054 but follows the submission process used by Government of Canada offices abroad, such as embassies, high commissions, and consulates.

Who can use it
Canadian citizens aged 16 or older whose most recent passport meets the Passport Program's renewal conditions, generally including that it was issued when the applicant was 16 or older. If your passport does not qualify, or if it was lost or stolen and the current rules do not allow renewal in that situation, use the general application for applicants abroad, Form PPTC 040, and any required declarations.
