Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Split PDF?

Extract Pages works within one document: delete what you don't want in the editor, then export the rest as a single file, or use the per-page extract button for one page at a time. Split PDF instead breaks a document into several files at once: enter multiple ranges in the Split panel and each one downloads as its own PDF, zipped together.

How much does it cost?

Universal PDF requires a Pro subscription. One subscription unlocks every tool on the site, cancel anytime.

Does the order of pages change?

No. Pages you keep stay in the same relative order they appeared in the original document, so extracting pages 5, 2 and 8 still returns them as 2, 5, 8 in the output, not the order you typed them.

Is my PDF uploaded to extract pages?

No. The page selection and extraction both happen on your device. The document stays with you unless you specifically choose to email the result or save it to My Files.
