How do I use Crop PDF?

  1. 1

Drop your PDF into the upload zone. It opens directly in our online editor with the Crop tool already selected. Files up to 100MB work.

  2. 2

Drag a rectangle over the page to mark the area to keep, then click "Crop this page" to crop just the current page, or "Crop all pages" to apply it everywhere.

  3. 3

Click Export PDF to build the cropped file, then download it; cropping and export both happen locally in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Does the crop apply to one page or the whole document?

You choose per crop: after dragging the selection box, click "Crop this page" to affect only the page you're viewing, or "Crop all pages" to apply the same rectangle to every page. If your document mixes page sizes, cropping one page at a time usually gives more precise results.

Can I undo a crop once I've applied it?

Applying a crop clears the undo history for that page, so there's no single-click undo for the crop itself. If you crop the wrong area, drag a new selection and crop again, or re-upload the original file to start over with a clean copy.

How much does it cost?

Universal PDF requires a Pro subscription. One subscription unlocks every tool on the site, cancel anytime.

What happens to my file during cropping?

Your PDF is opened, rendered and cropped on your device, and the exported file is generated there too. The only time anything leaves is if you choose to email the result or save it to My Files.
