Should I use MOBI or AZW3 for my Kindle?

Can I convert a scanned PDF?

This tool needs selectable text to build a reflowable MOBI file. If your PDF is a scan or a photo of pages, run it through the OCR PDF tool first, then convert the result to MOBI. DRM-protected ebooks are not supported either way.
