Convert EPUB ebooks to MOBI for Kindle.
EPUB to MOBI converts your EPUB ebook into the older MOBI format some Kindle devices and apps still expect, keeping chapters, images and basic formatting intact. DRM-protected ebooks aren't supported. Files up to 100MB upload over an encrypted connection.

Drop your EPUB file into the box above, or click to browse and select it from your device.
Click Convert to MOBI. The file uploads over an encrypted connection and usually converts within a few seconds.
Download the .mobi file and transfer it to your Kindle over USB, email-to-Kindle, or a MOBI-compatible reader app.
Older Kindle devices and the classic Kindle app read MOBI natively. Newer Kindles increasingly favor the KFX/AZW3 format and Amazon's Send-to-Kindle pipeline, which can also accept EPUB directly. If your device is recent, check whether it accepts EPUB before converting, since Amazon has been phasing MOBI out across its lineup.

No. Ebooks purchased with copy protection from stores like Amazon, Kobo or Apple Books can't be converted here, because that protection has to be removed by the seller's own software first, which is outside what this tool does. Unprotected EPUBs, including most self-published and public-domain books, convert normally.
Chapter breaks, embedded images and basic text styling like bold, italic and headings carry over in most books. Complex layouts (heavy custom CSS, embedded fonts, or fixed-layout picture books) may render more simply in MOBI, since it's a less flexible format than EPUB.
