Frequently asked questions

Will the text in my DjVu file be selectable in the PDF?

That depends on the source file. If your DjVu document already has an embedded text layer (common for OCR'd scans), that text carries over and stays selectable. If it's purely scanned page images, the PDF will look the same but the text won't be selectable; run it through OCR PDF afterward to make it searchable.

Does image quality change during conversion?

Pages carry over at their original resolution and color depth. Very large or high-DPI scans simply take a little longer to process; they shouldn't lose visible detail in the resulting PDF.
